Amberley Montessori Preschool is open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Oakfields Preschool is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.30pm
Cheviot Preschool is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Kaikoura is open Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 3.30 pm

Our Room Structure

Acorns room is for our children under 2 years Oaks Leaf Room is for children 2 years to 6 years Oak Tree Room for children over 3 years Move N Groove is for all ages

ECE & WINZ Subsidies

There are 20 ECE hours available for all children 3 years and above WINZ will pay up to $5 per hour for hour if you meet the income threshold. See more here Tax credits are also available

Parent Involvement

We have an open door policy for parents to join in on our daily routines whenever they wish. We also run parent evenings on topics of interest, sometimes with guest speakers. These are a great way for parents to be informed and to meet other parents.

Our Programme

Each week Little Oaks studies a COLOUR, LETTER, SHAPE and NUMBER. Parents receive the letter, number, colour, sheet so they can support their child with this weekly learning activity. Adventure Outings Children go on regular outings to local parks and nature areas. Outings to local supermarkets and shops are also regular learning opportunities.

Community Involvement Both centres were involved in the Cheviot and Amberley Shows. We also visit retirement villages to sing songs to elderly, present an annual christmas concerts and our Cheviot children have participated in the

Cheviot Flower Festival.
